God invites us to share his very life and find rest in him. We want to be a source of encouragement and strength to your spiritual life. One of the great yearnings within the human heart is a deeper relationship with God. Augustine once said,
“You have made us for yourself, and our souls are restless until they rest in you.”
Our quest for God brings joy and struggle, pain and gain. We descend together into valleys of shadows and climb mountains of inexpressible joy in our search to know God. Our church family has not reached the summit yet, but we have set our sight on what Jesus set before us. The “Mt. Everest” of our spiritual life is to be like our Father in heaven.
In our journey to love God and to love people as God has loved us, we are hard pressed by the size of the goal. If not for the determination and undying love of God none of us would ever reach this summit. If it is God you seek, we invite you to join us in our quest to be at one with him. God is preparing us for the day when we will meet him face to face and be transformed into his likeness. Come to Jesus and be filled.
