The Lancaster Church of Christ will no longer be participating in the treasure box. Anyone still interested in purchasing a treasure box, can order them at www.thetreasurebox.org and pick them up at the nearest location.

A special note: We still need non-perishable microwaveable foods (such as cup of noodles) and any other non-perishable items. Also, continue to bring your canned foods etc. All will be used to serve our community.

Attention Ladies: The crochet class will be on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. at Bonnie's house.

Announcement: The cooking class will meet again on Monday January 30th at the church building at 6:00 p.m.

Our February 5th potluck will be cancelled! Instead there will be a sweetheart dinner on February 12th at the church building at 6:00 p.m.

February 12-16:Revival Meeting from Llano Church of Christ. Please see flyer at back office for more information.

February 19th: Area wide singing at our church building at 2:00 p.m.

February 21st: All ladies are invited to the Ladies luncheon. It will be at Giannini Bistro and Grill located at 858 W. Lancaster Blvd. at 11:30 a.m. Please call Carolyn for further information.

May 1-4: Pepperdine University Bible Lectures. If you are interested in attending, registration forms are located in the office on the bulletin board.

May 19th: Area Wide Ladies’ Day! Hosted by Upland Church of Christ. More details to come.

 


 

 







 

Prayer request from 1/22/12


Eleanor Hogains-Please pray for comfort for the following families; Ron Johnson, Mrs. Foley and the Hogains family. They all have suffered loss of a love one this month. Also, I would like to thank God that my mother is in a loving home care facility in L.A.

Linda Brooker-Tristan Becker was born 1-19, 7 lb 13oz. mom, dad and baby are all doing well. Praise the Lord!

Tony Marks-Please keep our church family in your prayers, who went on the cruise. Also, please pray for Mike Bennewitz mom, Lilo. She is in hospice care.

Demetrius Lewis-Please pray for some friends in my complex.


Prayer request from 1/15/12


Philip Givens-Please pray for my mother, Rhoda. She is having pain in her hip and it is making it difficult to walk.

Demetrius Lewis-Please keep Glenda in your prayers.

Cheng Moua-Praise God for my new job assignment as project manager. Praise God that my mother was not hurt during a car accident over Christmas. Praise God that my sister, May See, is doing well with her chemo treatment.
